In The Beginning

IN THE BEGINNING.

In The Beginning... Genesis 1:1.

In the beginning sets the tone and tempo for the day, we are all starting a clean slate, where we go deeper and deeper in our walk with the Lord and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Our desire for cultivation of fellowship has to be embedded from the beginning. Adam had an unbroken fellowship with God before the fall, the second Adam (Jesus Christ) came and restored that fellowship. Let's walk in the revelation of in the beginning.

Our Heavenly Father we thank You and give You all the praise for a brand New day, we ask that we invest our time judiciously and productively today.

We declare that this is a day You have made, we rejoice in it and we are so glad. We do come before You today in total submission to Your will and Your way.

We declare emphatic surrendering to Your prompts and nudging today, make us more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and open our hearts and minds to reading and studying your word so we can hear from You.

We declare a strong penetration of Your word through the hearts of our families, communities, cities and Nations. We ask for yielded hearts.

We declare that in this beginning, that many will turn to You, and be delivered from every oppression of the enemy and kingdom of darkness.

We declare that men and women be set free from mental oppression and depression, that the sick be healed and the bound be set free as we intercede and do supplication for them.

We declare in this fresh mandate a fresh breath of the Holy Spirit over our economies and governments from the lowest to the highest levels.

We bless Your Holy Name forever and ever and declare Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

All of these we declare and pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Encourage our family to continue to fast and pray in the name of Jesus.

Receiving from God

We receive from the Lord in the same way that people in the Bible received from the Lord—whether it is salvation, healing, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, or some other gift God has provided. We receive by faith. This   is emphasized in James 1:5–7, which tells us what to do if we are lacking something in our life. The Apostle James said that we are to ask of God, but instructs us to ask in faith in order to receive. JAMES 1:5–7 5  If any of you lack wisdom, LET HIM ASK OF GOD, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6  But LET HIM ASK IN FAITH, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7  For let not that man think that he shall receive ANY THING of the Lord. James begins this passage talking about receiving wisdom, but he ends the passage talking about receiving anything. Well, healing, or anything else the Word promises, is certainly included i...

The Battle of Life Part 2.

John 18:26 - 40. One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of him whose ear Peter cut off, said, “Did I not see you in the garden with Him?” 27 Peter then denied again; and immediately a rooster crowed. 28 Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium, and it was early morning. But they themselves did not go into the Praetorium, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover. 29 Pilate then went out to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this Man?” 30 They answered and said to him, “If He were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered Him up to you.” 31 Then Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,” 32 that the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke, signifying by what death He would die. 33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answere...

Your Believing Affects Your Receiving

In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” According to this and other verses in the Bible, what you believe determines what you receive from the Lord. In other words, your believing affects your receiving. Notice I said that your believing affects your receiving. Your receiving isn’t based on another person’s faith; it’s based on your faith. And just hearing someone else preach the Word won’t give you faith to receive unless you get into the Word for yourself. Years ago, I preached at a small Full Gospel church in Kansas. The pastor told me that more than half of his congregation had not received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. They were good Christian people, but they hadn’t received this Bible experience. So at the pastor’s request, I spent several evenings teaching on the baptism in the Holy Ghost and how to be filled with the Spirit. Each night, I encouraged the people to bring their own Bible to the services...
